CAPTAIN

I am a full-time guide out of Four Winds Marina in Bokeelia, Florida. While I was a K-12 teacher, I spent my summers traveling throughout the world setting world-fishing records in Alaska, Africa and North and Central America. Even after attaining my Master's degree, I longed to be on the water fishing and decided to pursue my life long dream of being a fishing guide. I believe that I can teach outside the classroom by helping people to improve their skills and knowledge about fishing.

When you book a charter with Hawkeye Charters, we guarantee that you will catch fish or the trip is free. There are no all day “boat rides” when you are fishing with Hawkeye. The guarantee does not apply to tarpon fishermen or fly fishermen.

BOAT AND EQUIPMENT

Equipment is all first rate. My boat is a 2002 20-foot Action Craft with a 225 HP Yamaha and is equipped with state of the art electronics. Rods and reels are Fin-Nor, Okuma, Quantum, Abel, Hurricane Redbone and Loomis. Even hooks and fluorocarbon leaders are provided to ensure the very best chance of hooking and landing "the big one."

I fish all my clients as if I were the client myself, thus always giving 100%. Being a full-time guide and not a part-time guide assures that you will have a blueprint for success because I am on the water 250 days a year.
